  • Gas Meters

Health Dept came into this trailer park and cited most of them for not having flexable gas lines for earthquake protection. This is the "handyman's" solution. Picture #2, the meter on the right is not registering any gas usage, so the occupant has not been billed for a very long time.

So what does the inspecting authority consider acceptable.
I don't see any triple 90 swing joints on the gas companies supplys that are direct connected to structures.

      Re: Gas Meters

why the health dept. and not the dept. of building and safety?

      i thought you're propane there?

how much gas can pass through a 1/2'' flex connector

this would be a good location for csst. 3/4'' or 1''.

          Re: Gas Meters

The Health Dept is the authority, I don't know why, something fairly recent, maybe not enough restraunts to pick on. They did this last year at another trailer park...easy pickings. The owner of the park wants about 50 new gas meters installed, and decided not to use his handyman.
