  • Looking to purchase a Ridgid 1500B

Does anyone have a ridigd 1500B for sale? Or have any ideas where I could look for a used one? I worked for the same plumbing company for 21 years but it recently closed. I'm looking to purchase one to do work on my own. I would appreciate any help.

Welcome to the forum Brigman, Are you sure that the 1500B is the machine you want to start out with? The K-60 is more of a multi-function machine at a lower cost and are a lot easier to find if looking for something used.

The company would not sell you the one they had?

No, the company wouldn't sell it because the owner's son will probably get it. He's been working with the company for a while.

I also need a backflow preventer test kit by conbraco. Any other suggestions?

                    Thanks for your help.

I own a Midwest 845-5 backflow test kit. I really like it a lot.

We use a test gauge kit by midwest instruments. they're cheaper than many other brands and the quality is way better. Here's a link to their site. My guy that I bought from is in Elgin, IL. PM me if you like the site and want more info.

in regards to a used K-1500, I would keep an eye on craigslist. there are a lot of good deals to be had. There's a guy in Raleigh selling a couple of machines if you are looking for a screaming deal but don't mind switching to a drum style machine.

                        Best of luck to you

                        -Chris

I bet we got it from the same guy. I bought mine when he was up in Gilberts. I have the one I won from a trade show/ continued education class and the one I got from Test Gauge Inc.
