Adam mentioned that doing slab demo Jobs was keeping his head above water.... Me too

Here is the video of a damaged section... I took this video after we had opened up the floor and removed the completly colapsed section. We are looking at the downstream section to see how much farther we need to jackhammer. The camera head drops through damaged section and follows path of water under pipe into earth.

This is what the hole looked like after we removed the damage from the video.

Here is the damaged pipe after removal.

This is the section from the video

Don't feel left handed men, it seems like all I have done for the last 2 months is demo concrete.I am not complaining it all pays the bills. Yall have been at this longer than I have, What causes the cast to give it up like that?? Is it just rusting out , or is it a chemical reaction of somekind??

concrete demo is something i enjoy and have a vast arsenal of toys to cut and demo with.

adam and i both have 14'' electric cut off saws, but i've never had luck with the electrical breakers.

i find a skill saw works good.

now you want a toy, get the concrete chainsaw i have

                      Re: Jackhammer Job

I drill a couple of starter holes with the Hilti to see how tuff the concrete is then I go after it with an electric breaker (50lbs).
In some situations I will saw cut first but their is no way to control the dust if you do (I will use water and a shop vac but it is still a dusty mess indoors).

I also enjoy concrete demo especially now that I'm not blind to the condition of the pipe

Different ones out there. They aren't cheap and don't rent any cheaper.
