  • New Tools!

Got a few things off ebay and craigslist last week. I think I scored! I am super stoked so I just had to share. It's really nice to have that sense of ownership of these tools .

    Propress- RP 330- $1875
-The 1/2 and 3/4" jaw look untouched, the tool is in great condition.

    Ridgid 700- $550 + $95 shipping
-Tool and dies are clean it was obviously well taken care of, the dies are in great shape other than the paint wearing off.

    Ridgid 400- $200
-1/2" Cable was dirty only on the first 10' other than that the cable is brand new along with the machine, they guy I bought it from still had the box. He was kinda shady, said he was a drain cleaner but is now going into the armored truck business...

    Ridgid K60- $700 + $290 shipping
-Machine is in beautiful shape. Came w/75' of 7/8 cable, just ordered a new guide hose from my supplier for $120. The shipping was killer for this one.... UPS ground to Hawaii lol.

Who cares? If any of it was really stolen it was probably the k400, but it doesn't bother me. Its not like I bought it knowing it was stolen.

Would you care if your tools were stolen?

bill, good try, but the postage from washington to hawaii and back home, will kill you

i guess living in luxury comes with a big price tag. so does living in alaska.

things can certainly be tougher here...

I actually did a small amount on the TV show they did on that subject, but was not real impressed with the end result

As for the new tools, congrats.... Call it karma, cause and effect, devine intervention, or whatever you want; I hope their not stolen.
