      there I go again, noobing it up in public.
      I'm here to tell you, coastal nunya has a LOT of traps in exterior walls, along with non frost free hose bibs in those 3.5 exterior walls.

        As a carpenter, what do You want for walls under the UPC.
        Laundry and kitchen 2x6 for 2" waste ???
        I can build anything You want , if you draw a picture of it , on the back of a big enough check .

          If Pa, ever adopts this version of the IPC, I'm just going to tell our carpenters to use a 2x6 wall for the laundry area.

            Inspectors will also use it at your kitchen window where it may be headered off with full studs and short studs. More than 4 over to your vent, no drill.
