jc, did you really think i missed that one

i ordered it at our trade show may 1st. and received it less than a week later. it's actually real handy when doing lots of bands. especially 5'' or larger that have 4 clamps on them.

the 60'' pounds is what i use, and the 80''# is for the husky heavy duty type bands.

the led light is always a nice feature.

Waste of money. You can get the same results using the M12
3/8" drill driver (or any other) and adjusting the torque setting.

not really. although you could tighten the bands with an impact driver, the clutch is not calibrated. of course before this torque driver.

this particular driver is calibrated and certified for the 60''# and 80''#.

so you could use a reqular driver with a clutch, you really should snug it up and then use your torque wrench to get it to 60''#.

Yeah, really. Been there, done that. You don't have to justify tool
purchases to me. I could care less. Personally it's not worth it to me
to buy a dedicated tool that is rarely used and if I have to finish off the
connection with a half turn of a hand driver, so what.

years ago we would use a "zipall" gun. powered by a co2 tank. would do hundreds of bands a day with it. but it was all feel and no real torque setting. did break a few bands a day with it.

the milwaukee tool eliminates the plus or minus torque variables.

so yes it can be done and has been done for many many years with truck loads of bands, with decent results.

but now we have a very light portable tool that's calibrated to the factory required torques.

nice design with a fast charge interchangeable battery.
