I wonder how much more it costs? What happens when the hub gets dinged?

It doesn't seem as though Propress is going away though does it.

Seems like it would reduce installation time when putting in long runs of pipe, but like geno said, I would be concerned with the fittings getting damaged during shipping/moving to a job site.

sort of like the 20' lengths of pvc with a belled end to eliminate a coupling. unless you're running long mains, the added coupling is a waste. plus keeping the dirt out from the silicon oiled o-ring will be fun in the field.

don't expect to see it stocked in the supply house any time soon.

What do you spose that stuff costs per foot?

Now let's talk real easy. I had a rep drop off a box of compression PVC DWV fittings. No glue required. Slip the ferrul on and tighten the big nut. Sweet, now we don't even need to know how to slop glue on anymore. I think the time has come for virtual plumbing. We'll all clamp on some sort of visor and imagine the toilet flushed as we soil our pants.

I keep looking for "Sharkbite DWV" soon.

My goal is a group of Oompa Loompa's with camera helmets and microphones on. Then I can just sit in the truck with an Ipad saying "NO! NO! NO!".
