    My method involves pulling your first bend, regardless of what angle, lay the bent pipe on the ground and with two parellel lines drawn on the ground. The two lines are your distance required for the offset, ie; measure offset required, say 250mm, draw 2 lines 250mm apart, pull one bend (note the angle), lay pipe on marks with length of straight pipe ontop of one mark, and then mark pipe were it intersects 2nd mark. Bend pipe, and use same degree of angle.
    Another tip; you can use flooring jionts as one line, and pencil the second line.
