Re: Sooooo, how was the show!

A good time was had between friends.
I been in plumbing 27 years, went to my first trade show three years in.Not a whole lot for a const. plumber, still not my thing.Utah listened to me tell one of the carnival barkers "If I need something I'll call you".I got there at 8:45 and was done by 9:15.Rick on the other hand was only half way though the booths by 11:00.He is an amazing character,he loves the "Show" no matter the agenda. It is hypnotic to watch him pitch at the Ridgid arena.
Wookie/Phil,Nevada Plumber/Mark,Rick 1643/Idl plumbing/Aram,Westcoast/Robert and even a wonderfully unsuspected suprise from a silent member who recognized some of us off the forum were all there.

The eternal water heater guys were there.I gave them my contact info to get into a breakdown class.
The typical flood damage people were there in force with their sex sells chickies tossing bait.

Nevada got the deal of a lifetime on some Dahl 1/4 turn pex stops.

    Great lunch at "Islands"

It was cool having the reps there to answer questions on the more popular items.

Nice when it is not as packed, meaning attendance was down.

I'll not miss a chance to hang out with my friends.

That pretty much sums things up. I think the highlight of the day was the lunch

Re: Sooooo, how was the show!

this show i spent the least ever.

only bought a 1/4'' warthog nozzle and a 1/2'' leader hose for my jetter.

seems like more people/ plumbers were there to win door prizes and look at the laker girls

        sort of a depressing show

can we discuss the new ridgid toy that was on display

That "thing" has sat warm and toasty in my garage for three years. You better not be leaving it outside in the snow and cold.
I was hoping you'd have it in your living room next to the fireplace. She's sparkly clean.

Sorry for the poor attendence. I guess my lack of appearance made my people stay at home. What beautiful timing on next year, I'll miss that show as well.

                              showcased or on display

it was on display and looked good.

manual pull start, which i feel is fine as that eliminates the issue with a battery, charging and extra weight to load and unload.
