    no i never have but did you use the insert you put inside the copper pipe so it will have something hard to press on to and not just the this copper pipe

              Actually the correct designation for that thinner tube is type h copper. Definitly the thinnest available and only used in finn tube. Get out your torch, it is the correct tool for the job.

                we just got the propress and the next time i do fin tube i would solder to the fin tube the i would use the press under the floor
