      Here, the only thing considered the gas company's on the outlet side is the first connection. And that's typically within one foot.

      Have to coordinate with them because if you stub out somewhere else, then you have to reroute to the meter. And retest.

      It depends, but the welded maifold is usually the Gas Company's.

        out here with the so cal gas co. they will only hook up to 2'' and smaller on residential lines. so if you have a 4'' stub, you need to reduce it to 2'' for them to make the connection. once again this is residential.

        residential also has 3 different size meters. 3/4'', 1.25'' and 1.5'', they are rated based on cfh.
