  • Hot water, cold water and ICE water?

Just had to remove an ice water line to a 1/2 bath wall hung lavatory.

There was a hot water on the left. A cold water on the wall above the sink right in the center, and an ice water on the right.

The sink and faucet were Kohler, and the faucet manifold had a port for the extra cold water feed which was clearly from the factory.

I've never seen an ice water to a bathroom sink before.

Was there a freezer on the other side of the wall? Ha.

Thanks Geno that is so cool! I never knew there was such a thing on a lavy sink. Having an upstairs bedroom and bathroom you don't know how many times I wished for ice water late at night and didn't want to walk downstairs. Did I tell you I'm Irish?

No, and believe me, I looked. ) I think a refrigeration compressor / storage tank failed and was removed quite some time back.

Need? Nobody needs an ice water line. LOL. The residence in question has pretty much every amenity a person can imagine from a place built 80 years ago. Including a phone booth for private conversations on the phone when people are nearby.
