  • UPC W/M Code?

Could someone list it? I won't be needing it for any reason. Just curious to learn what it currently says.

    Thanks.

of indirect waste pipes shall be approved for the use
proposed and shall be of such shape and capacity as to prevent

more than eighteen (18) inches (457 mm) above the floor. No

Interesting in that a trap is disallowed to be installed below the floor. I can see that on a slab as it makes it more difficult to access. But I can't see it for a crawlspace or basement where it would be the most accessible.

I know the measurement requirements can also limit it though.

Any requirement to upsize the pipe after the trap? We have to bump up to 3" here.

          Thanks.

No. 2" Trap and Standpipe. Bump up to 3" after the trap outlet.

If you have to use a fouling chamber there's something wrong with your install.

pretty sure a fouling chamber is the oversized pipe after the trap to allow for the wash water to back up a bit as it drains.

it isn't install specific, Nunya switched to requiring that a code book or two back
No, it's not rocket science, it's plumbing and unlike rocket science it requires a license.
