  • Am Stan Cadet Kitchen single handle faucet chattering

I just installed a brand new Am Stan Cadet single handle kitchen faucet and it chatters for a half second when the faucet is operated. I didn't provide the faucet, the customer bought it at HD. So I told the customer they should call and ask AmStan for a replacement cartridge. I also told them if I had provided the faucet the chattering would be my problem not theirs.

I'm curious, does anyone know if this is a common problem with these faucets and if so why?

The spray diverter is the issue......it may resolve itself if you operate the spray and few times really quick.

had a similar issue, but it was the seals in the stops having gotten brittle over the years.
