  • Regional Standards ?

Here in the Tampa area we do things a certain way , no problem until Northern drywall Installer and electricians try to tell us how to do plumbing LOL

Florida plumbers PM me if you will ... I have a question ... Thanks !

      Re: Regional Standards ?

That's because up north even drywallers and electricians are better plumbers

Just kidding but one of the interesting things about these forums is that you get a chance to see that certain areas do things differently. I hold a Florida Masters license and worked down there for a little over 10 years. My impressions at the time were that most of the plumbing that was done, particulary on tract housing was pretty damn sloppy, especially underslab piping. Down south plumbing is not subjected to hard freeze conditions either so installing water heaters in car ports and such is fairly common.

My mother lives in Florida, and I think the Plumbing in her house is sloppy.
