  • Flooded bath, tub overflow drain couldn't keep up

Going to look at repair work for the unit below , appt. building. I said" maybe I should check the tub drainage ." She said it drains ok. Can an unfouled drain n overflow
always keep up with the water ,stopper in place ?
I can build anything You want , if you draw a picture of it , on the back of a big enough check .

I guess that would depend on the Tub flow
i would have to test it to know

The over flow itself could leak when tested
and you always have to rule out the children

the overflow was never designed for full force. just more for water displacement when entering the tub. same goes with bathroom sinks and most toilet tanks.

Well she has 2 problems. The fiberglass shower pan has a gasket leak on drain. In bath #2. Supply house sell gaskets alone? Bath tub was left unattended while filling. Serve pro took care of most of that. Thanks Tool
