We were a A.O. Smith warranty service rep. back in the 90's. I've changed hundreds maybe a thousand diptubes at $65 a pop. Had to call A.O.Smith to get approval for anything over an hour which almost every job needed to flush out the broken pieces and change aerators. Then the stack of paperwork that had to be filed for each one.
