      Re: roots

need much more info as to how the roots can grow this big and the copper leak not show up for this long. copper will get worse and worse as the leak continues.

there is much more to this story that im missing.

that pipe was not underground and the end is also capped. was this not a live line anymore?

        Re: roots

This house was not lived in for several years then bought and being gutted and remodeled. Roughed it all in turned water on and it started coming up around this (toilet, lavi line). other end of line was loop from shower. Wall were open so rerouted line. Thats what was in the dead line. Must have had a leak and roots grew when house sat w/o water I guess.

See, I knew there was something missing.

Must have been shocked to see roots when you cut the copper open.

I like roots but not packed really tight inside a pipe with a very small cleanout cap.

c snake because the head of the snake is a C. sharktooth cutter.

There are way more bad azz blades than the lowly C cutter, although it's the #1 blade I run on my Spartan 300. It's just not really a "tear it up" bit

I have had extremely good dealings with the sharktooth. It rips and roars with the k-1500 on roots. There are very few times that I can't get through on the first pass with a 3" sharktooth.

Give a hair cut to tree roots. Know of any trees with long hair roots? Send them my way.
