It was bolted down.the problem is that we do not ever bolt them down because of the possibility that this would happen. We always use anchors that curl at the tip and are almost impossible to remove without making a lot of noise.but the park district wanted these so they can remove them for winter storage. I think theyre iron with a powder coat finnish they're extremely heavy approximately 200 lbs or so.i don't know maybe they rust or whatever .so we used anchors and the nuts and bolts once u hammer them in they're not suppose to be able to un thread .well so much for that.they have to be at least a grand for one fountain.triple basin three spouts Ada accessible with a sillcock in a bottom hatch for the dogs. (Separate line that feeds off an rpz and backflow)

I take that back..this one did not have a sillcock and a separate line.thats the one we put on the north side of the park ...this one had one line with a vacuum breaker anti siphon sillcock for the dogs...

These days people will steal anything just for the sake of stealing it. Even if it is bolted down... Not enough!

we had a run of manholes. but what was even more lucrative was the hydrant dust covers made of brass. typically 2 or 3 on a hydrant and 2.5''- 4'' size. simple and fast.

they replaced them now with yellow plastic dust caps.
