  • bathroom sink

Some dork used construction adhesive to glue down a bathroom sink. Need to install new sink as it is cracked. Any thoughts on removing it with destroying the counter top?
Home owner not to happy about it.
    Thanks

Very carefully I guess. Probably warn the owner it could go south very quickly then just start breaking it apart.

it's a drop in style I'm guessing? What is the counter material. Laminate over particle board or engineered stone.

Maybe a JobMax or similar multi-tool would be able to cut under the sink flange without doing much if any damage where it would show. Some blades available for them with zero set on the teeth so they don't chew up adjacent materials.

Hot putty knife or an oscillating tool with scraper blade.

Hot air gun to soften the adhesive and then work it out with a putty knife. Just check that the countertop will not be affected by heat. Other than laminate I think you should be fine with materials like tile or stone.
