    So does anyone know if this new 24volt reciprocating saw can run of my drills 18 volt 2.5 mah batteries?

    Rigdid calls it "max select" it will run on both 18 and 24 volt

      the only diffrence is at 24v you gey 0 - 2500 rpm and at 18v its 0 - 2000 rpm
      American by birth. Canadian at heart.

          If you don't mind the power cord, you'll find they do cut faster and longer than the cordless ones can. You would do well to check Milwaukee and Porter-Cable (corded models). Try pricing the models you like online at several dealers. Sometimes you'll find specials where they may throw in a case or some blades with the deal. Some may ship for free while on special.
