I have a RapidMax Twin with a bad fan. The fan does not seem to be available as a replacement part. Does anyone know where I can purchase a fan for this unit?

Rigid customer service said the only thing to do was to spend $150 for a new one. The fan itself, probably costs $3 or $4.

Doesn't sound like a real practical option to me.

Do you know what voltage the fan is and size. A picture would be nice. I have a few places that might have a replacement fan. We use a lot of little fans when doing theater systems to keep equipement racks cool.

I can have a photo by tomorrow. I can say the it is a 12v .21A fan about 1.25"x1.25" and about 3/4" thick.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. It seems really stupid to have to replace a perfectly good charger for a cheap part.

      Thanks.

brobesky... I may be missing something here. If you have a Rapidmax Twin charger, did u register for the LSA? If yes, my understanding is that Ridgid will repair for free.
there's a solution to every problem.....you just have to be willing to find it.
