I have Fien's Multi Master vibrating saw/scrapper. I use it for cutting base board when installing cabinets or entertainment centers. Yes, it was VERY pricey, but like most good tools, I wish i'd bought it years ago. I can nip a 5" baseboard on the wall with tile floor in about 10 seconds. The old days of a utility knife and chisel and hammer and 10 minutes and a lousy job are long gone!
I have a pocket hole cutter for face frames so that would not be something i'd "need" (want? oh yea!!!) but if I ever got into furniture it might be worth the bucks. I"ve seen other jigs that drill 3 holes partially overlapping each other and then special 3 flute "dowels" that fit. Pretty slick too.
Congratulations to Mr. "the sky is falling" Al Gore, nominated the new Village Idiot!
