  • Max Select Wet/Dry Vac Has Two Conflicting Warranties

The Max Select Wet/Dry Vac says "This unit does not qualify for the LLSA" under this webpage http://www.ridgid.com/maxselect/tools.html and click the wet/dry vac picture.

However, in this webpage http://www.ridgid.com/Tools/WD2450-W...-Vac/index.htm it states LLSA.

Does anyone know which webpage is correct?

I think it is covered under a lifetime warranty, just like all the Ridgid shop vacs, not the LLSA.
The second website seems to confirm that.

I am thinking of purchasing the vac. However we can't assume the second website is correct.

I also have swamp land to sell you.

When you register the vac into your eBox you not only register the vac you also register the battery and the charger. It would be logical to come to the conclusion that if Ridgid covers the batteries and chargers under the LLSA for their other battery powered tools then they also would cover the battery and charger that come with this vac.

PS: I have all the swamp land that I need at the moment so I'll not be interested in any of yours.

Good catch. Let me clarify this one and we'll fix it on the site.

The MaxSelect Vac, like the rest of the tools, does not come with a battery or charger. Additionally, as was correctly pointed out, the vac has the lifetime warranty against defects and workmanship, but it does not qualify for the LSA.

Sorry for any confusion. Thanks for your support of RIDGID.

All ridgid vacs have a lifetime warranty?

You guys should look into a swampland trade maybe.
