  • Difference between Lifetime Warranty and LSA

    Hi,

I'd like to know what the difference is between the Lifetime Warranty that comes with the cordless vacuum WD2450 and the LifeTime Service Agreement.

    Thank you,

Re: Difference between Lifetime Warranty and LSA

The Lifetime Warranty only covers defects in workmanship and materials while the LLSA covers any repairs that are needed for non abused tools and also the replacement of all worn out parts.

      Docfixit,

You may have noted, but just in case you haven't, the Ridgid vacs are NOT covered under the LLSA.

The Ridgid Vacs are made by Emerson Tool Company (Emerson Electric is the parent company of Ridgid and Emerson Tool). The woodworking and handheld power tools are made by Tektronics International (TTI) under a license agreement with Emerson Electric. The LLSA is the responsibility of TTI and is handled through "Ridgid" authorized service centers. TTI is the parent company of Ryobi, Milwaukie, Homelite, and One World Tecnologies (OWT). Ryobi, Ridgid, and Sears Craftsman customer and technical support are all handled by OWT. (Perhaps by now, Milwaukie is too, but I don't know that as a fact.)
