    ...with the TS3650?

    Does it fit?

    Do you like it?

Don't waste your money. The arbor on the 3650, along with many other saws, is not long enough to cut wide dado's using the Dial-A-Width. I'm not exactly sure how wide but I believe that the SD600 Series will allow you to cut smaller width dado's on the 3650 but what would be the point?

Appreciate the heads up Badger Dave.

What Dado blade set would you recommend then?

The DeWalt DW7670 8-Inch Stacked Dado perhaps?

There is a member here, hewood, who has done some pretty extensive testing and reviewing on many different types and brands of saw blades. He has a very high opinion of that DeWalt dado set.

Some other sets that you may want to do a little research on would be the Freud SD200 and SD500 Series , Forrest Dado King and the Ridge Carbide set.

Although DeWalt doesn't offer one, as far as I know, a 6" set instead of an 8" is another option. A 6" set is still capable of cutting an 1¼" deep dado which for most user will be plenty deep enough for their needs. The 6" will not only cost you less money but because of its reduced weight will put less stress on your saws motor.
