  • Another router table

I have been eying this table for a while, been thinking about a heavier table and this should do the trick. Has anybody ever seen this one in real life? What kind of opinion would you have on it? Cast Iron should take out most vibration, and weight should make it very stable.

    Re: Another router table

I've not seen this table in person, but have eyed it in their catalog. My two things against it are the price (yes, I'm a tightwad!) and the universal mounting bracket for the router. I've not seen a picture of it, but in my experience, anything "universal" usually isn't. But I do like the heavy, machined table top and the weight would be more benefit than hinderance.
I may be wrong about this, but it wouldn't be the first time and it won't be the last.

Yes the universal mounting bracket has also got me curious. I cannot find a detailed picture, but I will keep on searching. If I find something I'll post it back.

"Universal mounting bracket and tilt up table top for easy adjustments" Expensive junk. You can buy one of the best router lifts and the materials to build a really nice table for that kind of money. If you have noticable vibration in a router table then it's time for a new router.
