  • Ridgid R3203 Accuracy

I bought a Ridgid R3203 circular saw from Home Depot. That is the 8 lb 6 1/2" saw. When the bevel is set at "0", it cuts at about 1 degree. I brought it back to and Home Depot gave me another one. This one cuts at negative 1 degree. Has anyone else had this problem. I love the weight and speed of the saw, but can't live with the inaccuracy.

    Thanks

I never rely on the factory markings for any brand of saw. I check the bevel with a square. That said, if the shoe is warped in relation to the blade, where the saw will rock, then it may be grounds for replacement.
