  • battery weight

Well I've read the myriad of posts about heavy tools etc.
I thought all you professional guys had huge arms! At least that's the impression from the various construction tv shows.

Anyway, I just pulled out the scale and here is what I have:

the Ridgid 18v HC battery weighs 2 lbs 6 1/2 oz
    the ridgid 18v 2.5AH battery weighs 2lbs 8 1/4 oz

Now those weights are with the batteries fully charged...full of lots of electrons just waiting to run the power tool of choice!

Now my arms as a bit thin..so thin I can't get a tattoo! but I can easily hold the impact driver with the 18v 2.5ah battery and even run it down to where I have install another battery.

I find this use beats working out with dumb-bells. Perhaps after a lot of use I'll have one huge arm and one skinny arm!
