  • Jacobs 6000 series replacement chuck

After much trial & error, I managed to remove the old chuck from a Ridgid 18vMAX hammer drill I found at a pawn shop. The jaws of the chuck wouldn't move, so it was quite a chore loosening it from the spindle. Anyway, when I went to buy a replacement chuck at HD, I noticed the new Jacobs 6000 series chucks that come in different colors to match the drill brand. Naturally, the only Ridgid Orange one they had was 3/8" (I needed a 1/2"). So, short of visiting every HD in my vicinity, does anyone know where I can find/order one in the color/size I desire? I've been all over the web and can't find them.

Try reading this info about them from Jacobs. I hope it helps. Keyword: Lowes

I they don't have a matching one you could do gray or black and it should look pretty good with the orange tool.
