  • Powermatic saw

Looking at buying an older Powermatic 10" table saw for sale on Craigs List. Built in the 70s, Model 66. Any one have any info or comments? Can't post a pic but could e-mail one if you think you can help me with some info on this saw

Great, Great saws. Dont know what info you want to know, but be sure to check the electrical requirements before you buy and/or make sure you have capacity to upgrade if necessary.

If memory serves me correctly, the smallest motor is a 3 hp 230 volt and the saw was offered with a 5 hp 230 volt both being single phase. And they offered them with 5 hp 230 and 460 volt three phase motors as well.

    Good luck,

An American classic that's still made today, and parts should be still available. A worthy fixer upper if the price is right, or possibly just a flat out nice saw already.

Call powermatic and make sure they still carry all replacement parts for that year's model. Hate to buy it and find out a 20$ part is broke and not able to get anymore.
        Buy cheap, buy twice.
