I just got a Rigid worm drive saw....need to know if the oil reccommended for a Skill worm drive is compatible with a Ridgid worm drive....can't find the type they are asking for in the town I live in....
I would think you would be OK using Skil oil if you make sure to drain out as much oil in the saw as you can first and don't mix the Skil oil with any other oils. It might be a good idea to drain the Skil oil after say 1/2 to 1 hour of use saw and then fill it up again with fresh Skil oil. This will flush out any leftover old oil and also any break-in grit.
