  • 18V Lithium Ion

Does anyone here know what the AH is of the Ridgid 18V Li-ion cordless drill? I see that Makita has two price points and the only difference that I can see other than colour is that the cheaper one is 1.3 AH and the more expensive is 3.0 AH.

The batteries that come with the drill are 1.5ah. They did just release a new 18v lithium battery with 3ah and have started sending them to stores, but I don't think they are coming with any drills right now.

Just as a point of reference, I have had the 18V compact drill with the 1.5 batteries for about 6 months. I use them daily on the job as well as using the batteries in the MaxSelect impact tool and have found them to be powerfull and surprisingly long lasting.
