  • Recall: Older Milwaukee Hole Hawgs

This recall is somewhat outdated, but you might just happen to have one that's part of the recall. If you own a Milwaukee Hole Hawg please check the serial number. If you think it is part of the recall, please get it to a factory service center or you may want to call Milwaukee at 1-800-729-3878 and discuss what action to take.

Please note that if there's an X on the name plate next to the catalog (model) number the tool should have been fixed up.

    1610-1 serial numbers 700B400200013 to 700B40080097

    1630-1 serial numbers 718B400230057 to 718B400480118

    1670-1 serial numbers 472B400200061 to 472B400440188

    1675-1 serial numbers 413B400190567 to 413B400522000

The trigger switch may stick on which is a safety issue. Please stop using the tool if your's is one of the above and have the switch replaced. Tools need to be checked for switch 23-66-1020 with date code of 0021 through 0044 on them. If that's the switch in your Hole Hawg it should be replaced with a newer switch. I really doubt many of the members on this forum will want to open up the tool for inspection. You would do well to take or send it in for service about once a year anyway. Brushes do wear out and the grease in the gear case should be cleaned out and new put in.

If in doubt, play it safe and take or send it to a factory owned and operated service center or contact customer service. The repair is free.

If you like, just download this parts list and see page 3 for info.
