Your review is very thorough! The power tool guide I use likes Milwaukee tools alot, and will have a new review section talking about many different manufacturers objectively!

Re: Review of the Milwaukee Compact Driver

I know of a toy forum sponsored by a dealer that seems rather peavish about mentioning other dealers and their sales.
Glad to see a Ridgid forum isn't stuck on itself.
Good review, I have the Bosch driver, the light works really well all around the screw, but not on the tip. I have used it for a mini flashlight as well.
      God Bless You Super Good!!!

I will still get the radio but I wish it did charge the battery, oh well. Thanks for the info.

Today I finally changed the battery. It still had one led showing but I was going up in an attic to mount a exhaust fan and did not want to take a chance of loosing power.

The four piece V28 kit arrived yesterday, with the free palm sander. I plan on putting it to the test soon. I sent my paperwork in for the free vac.

Davevb, this site is pretty good about being fair in my opinion. I am not really tool brand loyal. I find which one works the best for me, research it, then buy it.

I will let you know! Tomorrow I am putting the circular saw through a test.

The soft case does not due it justice.

I bought mine on Ebay. 109.00 bucks shipped to my house, it was worth it.

Great buy, HD wants $199.00 for it.

I have the Milwaukee 12v driver and love it! Then I bought the Makita 10.8v driver with impact for 179.00 and think it is a better a better driver. Here is why:

                    1. Has 2 speeds
                    2. Light stays on
                    3. Battery charges
                    4. Impact is super nice.

I keep the Makita with me on the job and the Milwaukee at home for around the house.
