  • Repairing WD16650 Blower Wheel and Brushes

My blower quit the other day. The blower wheel is broken and one of the leads separated from the brush. How the heck do I get those parts?
    Thanks!

    Blower wheel - 73507

As for the brushes the motor is only sold as a complete assembly and that doesn't come cheap. If you know someone into electronics-electrical repair ask if he/she might solder the connection for you.

Thanks, I'm going to attempt soldering it myself when I get home. I'm also going to look for a shop that sells brushes. I'm going to look to see who manufacture's the motor; maybe they will provide replacement brushes. Since I have the motor apart, I'd rather install brand new brushes.

You might try calling Helwig Carbon Products at 800-962-4851 or 414-354-2411 and see if they can help. They are a big manufacture and should be able to cross the info to one of their part numbers. Be ready to give them exact measurements and the application info.
