    Can a copper pipe with glycol water mix at -20F be frozen for repair with at ridgid pipe freezer?

    I know that a 50% concentration of glycol and water will freeze at -37. I'm just not sure what the pipe freeze kit will get down to, I know dry ice is roughly -70 below that so i would guess the kit would be some where close to that. Rick I'm sure will have all the answers you will need when he gets on

      liquid co2 is dry ice. it's -107f. that will work great as long as there's no flow.

      i don't know the temperature of the ridgid super freezers? i do know that they are not as cold as the co2 units.

      but they are a whole lot easier to use and set up.
