  • Brush problems with the one handed recip

I just recently bought the corded one handed fuego recip saw. I've used it only a handful of times and was in love with it. The last time I used it though I was getting some serious popping from the brushes. I took them out to see if they looked bad already, they didn't. I looked into the saw to see if I had gotten some sort of debris in them, I couldn't see any.

Has anyone else had this problem? I have owned a corded full size ridgid recip for years and had no problems. I haven't even had to replace the brushes. A little discouraging seeing as if I had also waited a month I could have gotten the cordless version anyways.

See this link. Sounds like yours is going the way mine went.
