  • Danger With The 3660 Table Saw

The splitter Is thicker than the stock blade....and can cause some binding

The splitter on my 3660 Is---.088
The blade at the carbide tips Is .0725

We have noticed this on another Forum...and I thought I would pass It along.

Correctamundo, put that blade on just about any table saw and you'll create a dangerous situation.

Your blade should have a kerf of at least 0.09" (~ 3/32"). Contact Ridgid and have them send your a suitable blade....that's a huge mistake on their part, that leaves them very vulnerable to liability suits should it result in an accident.

Has anyone got ridgid to send the replacement blade for free ? Just wondering if it is worth the email...if so, who/where did you email them for the new blade...I hear the wrenches that come w/ the saw are no good also and need to be changed for the newer wrenches (arbor wrench etc). I wonder what else needs to be changed ?

              The wrenches are just fine.

If you are tightening the arbor nut enough to bend one of those wrenches you are overdoing it.
