  • Help Finding A TS3660 Table Saw

Well folks, I was asleep at the switch when Home Depot blew these out. I had a local store do a remote SKU lookup and it showed three stores that had one. I knew it was a long shot but I drove all over town and they didn't have any.

I worked at store 3007 in St. Louis from 1998 to 2005, was a department head, appliance specialist and did inventory management (IMA). I had to leave due to back problems not related to the job. I had a failed back surgery.

I love to work with my hands and build things, I can work for an hour or two then come upstairs when the pain gets too bad and rest.

I called Home Depot customer support, the gal spent an hour on the phone trying to hunt one down, she said they had one there but it would cost too much to ship it to store 3007, and couldn't help me out.

Due to not working and being disabled and having no income, the cost of the new R4511 is out of reach. Any suggestions?

    Thank you, David

Have you tried looking on craigslist? You may not be able to come up with a 3660 immediately but if not there are usually other contractor style saws listed.

Thanks for the reply, yes I've been checking Craigslist. I own a Delta 36-600 saw that I'm not too happy with.

Thanks, I found a 3650 in a box but they can't find the second box with the rails and fence. Is there anything else in the second box?

No. Get it discounted and get an aftermarket fence.

I've heard about a Delta fence system that Lowes is closing out for 109.00 do you think that would fit?

Sure it would. You might have to drill a hole or two but CI drills easily.

Thank you for the reply. I'm debating.............. I did find someone in town that will sell me his TS3650 for 300.00. He really needs a portable contractors saw. I went over and looked at it and it seems to be taken care of. He will even deliver it for me and no charge.

So I'm trying to figure out if I want to run all over town to buy the new one and the Lowes fence. Or just have it delivered. Any opinion's??????

6 of 1, half dozen of the other. With the new saw you'd be getting a factory warranty and the Limited Lifetime Service Agreement. With the used one, most of the assembly would be done already and all you'd have to do is fine tune it again after the move. I think it basically boils down to what would be best for you and your wallet.
