  • On/OFF Switch for Ridgid 80746???

I bought a 80746 from Home Depot and broke the on/off switch; where can I find a replacement on/off switch for it? It has a Subaru motor; do I need to check with Subaru? I found a break down of the 80746 online yet it doesnt show the switch..

I broke the switch trying to figure out why it wont start; only has about 10 hours on it; it would start up fine then when I shut it off it wouldnt start again; would let it sit for an hour then it would fire right up. I pulled the carb of and shot starting fluid in there and nothing; it almost seems like its not getting an spark.

Any suggestions on where to order online a new switch and other matter would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks

Here is who you need to contact regarding engine parts if you want to just get them and either replace it yourself or find a service center.

      Robin America Inc.

      905 Telser Rd.
      Lake Zurich, IL 60047

If you want to try to find info about the engine, this web site should be helpful. You'll want to have the model and if possible the type and serial number too.

After some digging I think you have a model SP170 engine and if so, here is the basic parts listing for it. I hope this helps.

I couldn't find it myself on the Ridgid site so I assume it's been discontinued, but when I just put "Ridgid 80746" into google this is what returned. http://www.ridgid.com/Tools/RD80746-...r/EN/index.htm

Re: On/OFF Switch for Ridgid 80746???

Looks like the search index is not up to date on the RIDGID web site.
I tried searching on 80746 in a number of places and did not get a hit. I also figured it might be a generator or pressure washer or jetter as those are the only products I know that might have a Subaru motor on them, didn't find anything that way either.

Now I see the page that Woussko posted the URL to and see the model number right there on the page and wonder why the search did not find it.

But to make it even stranger, when I navigate to the pressure washer page I see this:

Notice the model number is different than the one on the page Woussko linked to.

Looks like maybe there are some ghosted pages on the site that should be removed.
