  • A Serious Cordless Vacuum Cleaner

When you've had it with junk, here is a serious cordless vacuum cleaner that professionals use to clean up. It's not made by God, but it's sure not the POC / POS stuff in the box box stores either. Have fun reading about it here.

0.5 HP translates into 40 inches of head. Dewalt DC500, Milwaukee V18/V28 can do 30" head, so nothing impressive there, just massive high voltage battery.

I'm in the process of modding my DC500 to have a charger in it, a cigarette lighter socket, a radio and a 36v motor running off 36v pack. I ran the whole setup as a bench test and it was as good as 2hp shopvac. Also, I ran my 5hp ridgid off 3x 36v packs in series - beats all cordless vacs, but only 10 mins runtime.

Good find, Woussko. Funny pictures - as a backpack vac, it reminds me of the Ghostbusters movies. Looking at the pictures of that vac, I started thinking about allowing unlicensed nuclear partical accelerators.
