  • R4510 Bevel adjustment question

    This is hard to explain.
After turning the beveling knob to 0 deg. or 45 deg., the blade always flexes back slightly, therefore, I am not getting a true 0/45 cut.
I realize I have to lock the lever once set, but does this mean I actually have to crank the knob to stay at 0 or 45 and not take my hand off this knob and lock the lever simultaneously??

the book that came with you saw has a section on setting it up and adjusting everthing ,you will see the 2 allen adjusters in the table top . I just got a new R4510 myself . The only thing that bothers me is made in china by One world technoogies instead of emerson.

all ridgid stationary power tools were made by some one other than emerson after, i believe, 2003. the new generation stationary tools are made by one world technologies, as are all the portable power tools. fwiw. also, be sure to register your saw for the limited lifetime service agreement.
there's a solution to every problem.....you just have to be willing to find it.
