  • Case for R3202 Circular Saw

    Hey experts,

I recently got a Ridgid R3202 Circular Saw at Home Depot. So far I am very happy with it, but it doesn't come with a case. That means to stack away between projects I have to put it back in the cardboard box it came in, which is not ideal.

Any suggestions on a case that will fit this saw?

    Thanks

you could always just pick up a $5 plastic tool box thats a good fit for the saw

      1) Used cases for other mfgrs tools are often on eBay. We have had success with switching a Makita case to a Dewalt tool, etc.
      2) As rto suggested, purchase a generic box and use it. We have done that by cutting some foam and putting it in the box to get that custom fit. I have heard of people wrapping the tool in saran wrap and placing it in the box and spraying expanding foam around it and closing the cover. After the foam dries, remove the saran wrap, do a little trimming.......and wallah, a custom fit.
