  • MS1065LZ laser question

The laser housing cracked when installing new batteries. I would like to do away with the laser. Is it possible to replace the laser assembly with a flange part#588035105 identical to the one on the back side of the blade?

    Thanks

    James

If you purchased your saw new it came with the washer and shorter bolt to eliminate the laser. If not search your saw at ridgid parts and order a replacement for it

          Newman,

          That's what I was thinking.

          Thanks

I found some flange washers and bolt on ebay for a Model 1060. Would you know if they would work?

With shipping the ebay ones would cost less. I'm all for saving a buck

          Thanks again

the laser that was on mine didn't seem to align itself next to the blade cut. it was always about 1/16" or so away.

i bought a laser from harbor frieght for 15 bucks and installed that. the red line is sitting right next to the blade cut now.
