    Hi Guys,

I have a 24v Li-Ion cordless saw that fell off a step stool and cracked the magnesium housing that holds the impact resistant base on. Does anyone know if I can order a replacement housing for it? The saw still works fine, but the base isn't stable anymore.

Thanks in advance for any assistance or tips,

PS, this 24v Li-Ion kit is one of the best investments I've made in my home hobbyist tool collection!

I thought this would be a lot tougher to find. I should have searched first!

I believe this is the part I need.
    27 200381004 UPPER BLADE GUARD ASSEMBLY ..........1

Has anyone taken one of these apart before?

Yes, I have, to add grease to the gear box, you might want to do that too, runs much smoother and quieter. Easy to do, you need to remove the ring clip holding the spring for the lower guard using a thin small screwdriver to lift one end and carefully remove. TORQ screwdriver need too. Be careful not to over tighten the screws in the plastic housing.
