  • Pressure washer - what's the difference

Home Depot has two 3300 psi pressure washers listed on there web sight. Anyone know the difference between the two models. We could not figure it out and the Ridgid Product web sight only lists one.

Interesting....if you look at the manual for the one that is on the Ridgid website, the filename actually has both models in it. Im guessing the higher model # is just a revised version of the first one?

Another possibility: one is a California/low emissions version and the other is not.

Aside from some very minor differences in the EX210 EFI engine, the two are identical.

Pressure washers and HD are a sore spot for me.....they changed the old DeWalt 2800psi model they had (CAT pump + Honda GX engine)...the display still had the nice CAT pump and GX engine, the new in box model I bought had the GX engine but some cheapo Chaiwanese pump. I was livid (especially after getting up the courage to drop 6 bills on it). Took a little bit but I was at least able to swap it for the display.

Ever since then the DeWalt PWs at HD are poop. The Ridgids are at least a little better, but I still love my 2800 psi DeWalt.

The old Dewalt PW was built by Devilbiss. The new ones are built by FNA (Faip North America).

Im assuming you mean the cheapo-replacement that was supposed to be like the display I bought?

Doesnt bother me who puts it together, as long as it has a Honda GX (or Subaru) engine and a CAT pump

The 702 model is the 49 state (not avail. in CA) model while the 905 model is the California emmissions model... and costs $50 more. I have the 3000psi machine (CA model) and it has been great w/ no problems.
