  • soap detergent feeding problem 3300 psi 3.0 gpm pressure washer

just bought for my business and I was wondering what activates the feed from the detergent bottle to use the soap. My goal is to be able to spray soap first, and then go directly to using water to rinse. But not sure what activates the detergent to come in the line, is it just the soap blaster nozzle that controls when to draw the detergent, and does it come out in a low pressure spray? my other theory would be pulling the injection hose from the nipple where the other water inlets and outlet is would stop drawing water or is it simpler than i think.

    Thanks

Any low pressure situation draws detergent/water mix through the line. This machine has downstream injection, meaning a venturi effect is created by a low pressure draw, therefore pulling the mix in any low pressure situation. Any detergent tip or even no tip at all will activate the detergent flow.

During a high pressure situation there is no draw in the line, therefore the chemical flow stops.

You say you'd like to soap first then go directly to rinsing? Any detergent benefits from sitting on the surface to do its job. Leave on as long as necessary, but just don't let it dry.

Upstream injection is where chemicals/detergents are sprayed at high pressure, but that's a whole different subject. Later!
