  • Garbage disposal dripping water - need advice

My 9 year old garbage disposal is dripping water from the bottom of the unit's housing - where the red reset switch is at, and where the electric wire goes inside the unit. The very middle of the unit where the motor armature runs is dry. It is not leaking from the outlet pipe or anywhere else. It drips about a quart a day. I can add photos if you think it may help doing the diagnosis. I do not want to change the unit. Is there any way to fix it?
