  • 18v Hammer Drill Trigger is stuck

    Fairly straight forward....
I was drilling, and when I let go of the trigger, it kept going.....anyone have a clue? there isnt a locking mechanism....or is there?

Did the trigger stay depressed or did the drill just keep running? If the drill just kept running, try blowing some compressed air into the trigger housing.

the trigger remained depressed, but there is some play in the trigger, like it is not all the way depressed, but the motor stuck wide open, until i removed the battery...........by the way it is a Ridgid X2
